Is the Unison Talent Search Exam only for Unison students?

No, the UTSE is open to both Unison students and students from other schools in the same grades.

The exam evaluates conceptual clarity and higher-order thinking skills in Logic and Reasoning, Maths, English, and Science, covering First Semester Syllabus of the current class along with Full Syllabus of previous class.

When is the Scholarship Test scheduled?

The UTSE will take place on December 8, 2024, Sunday.

Will the exam be conducted online or offline?

The UTSE will be conducted in Offline Mode at Unison International School, so students should prepare for an in-person examination.

No FEE payment is required for appearing in the exam, it is totally Free of Cost.

What is the format of the test?

The test will be Objective Type (MCQs) with only Single Option Correct and weightage of 4 Marks for each question. There will be total Four Sections in the Question Paper detailed as:

• Section A – Mathematics (20 Questions)
• Section B – Science (20 Questions)
• Section D – (20 Questions)
• Section C – Aptitude (15 Questions)

 Is there any Negative Marking?

Yes, there will be a deduction of One Mark for every wrong answer.

What is the prescribed syllabus for UTSE?

The syllabus includes topics covered in previous years and up to the half-yearly syllabus of the current academic year.

What is the criteria for availing the scholarship?

• Non-Unison students can avail 100% waiver on admission and tuition fees if selected and admitted to Grades VI, VII, VIII, IX, X & XI for the 2025-26 session (specific conditions apply for Grade 9).
• For Unison students, the scholarship includes a 100% waiver on tuition fees (up to 75% of the grade-specific composite fee).
• A minimum of 70% marks is required to be considered a top

Student Guidelines for Test Day:

• Carry School Student ID card (Unison/Non-Unison)
• Bring hardcopy of the issued Admit Card
• Bring required stationery, water bottle, hand sanitizer,
• Arrive at the exam venue well on time
• Do not attend if experiencing any infectious disease symptoms

Can students use calculators during the exam?

Use of calculators are not allowed during the UTSE. Students should check the specific instructions provided with their admit card.

When are the results declared?

Results are expected to be declared on Last Week of December 2024.

Important Note:

The scholarship is merit-based and valid for one academic session. For continuation into the next session, a child has to re-appear for the test in the next session.
